The CPI(M), the principal opposition party, has announced its boycott of the remaining days of the session, citing dissatisfaction with the Speaker’s conduct. Speaking to the media, Sudip Roy Barman also expressed concerns about the current state of governance, alleging that ministers and legislators in the assembly are not adhering to the Chief Minister’s directives.
