Agartala, April 05: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday visited the IGM Hospital here in Agartala and said that despite huge loads on the IGM Hospital, the doctors and other health staff are working dedicatedly while cleanliness is also being maintained.

During the visit, the Chief Minister said, “The State Government is closely monitoring the development of the healthcare system, with a special focus on providing quality services.”

The Chief Minister laid emphasis on the issue of hospital transparency. The patient’s family members are advised to be transparent and pay attention to cleanliness, he told reporters. The Chief Minister said that he has often visited this hospital and the picture of its improvement is gradually being noticed.

The Chief Minister also visited the Agartala Dental College and Hospital and interacted with the doctors and health staff.
