Agartala: April 07: Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers was honored with the prestigious ‘Preferred Retailers of India 2025’ award at a glittering ceremony held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on April 4th, 2025. This accolade was presented at the annual event organized by the All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), the apex body for the gems and jewellery industry. Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers stood out as one of only five jewellers from Eastern India to receive this distinction, and the only one from Tripura.

The ‘Preferred Retailers of India 2025’ award recognizes jewellers who have achieved exceptional customer loyalty, driven by high-quality design, craftsmanship, and trusted service. The award was presented to the directors of Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers, Mr. Rupak Saha and Mr. Rishiroop Saha, amidst a packed auditorium filled with industry leaders, where their achievement was met with resounding applause.

Gourav S. Issar, Managing Director (World), IDT, congratulated the jewellers, highlighting their commitment to excellence, which made them most deserving of the recognition. “Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers has continuously lived up to customer expectations, and this award is a testament to that,” Issar remarked.

Rupak Saha expressed his gratitude, dedicating the award to their loyal customers, emphasizing that their trust in the brand was key to their success. “With continued patronage, we will keep striving to offer the best in product quality, value-for-money, and customer service,” he said.

Arpita Saha, another director, spoke passionately about the company’s customer-centric philosophy, calling the award a validation of their efforts. Rishiroop Saha, the youngest director, encapsulated the moment by acknowledging the responsibility of upholding the legacy of excellence and trust that Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers is known for.
