Agartala, May 06: The state tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Tuesday said that the governing has taken multifaceted initiative to revamp tourism in the state.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha accompanied by the tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury laid foundation stone of tourism infrastructure development for Chabimura, Fatiksagar and Amar Sagar on Tuesday. The main programme was held at Chabimura in Amarpur subdivision.
Addressing the gathering in the programme, minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that the government is focused on enhancing livelihood opportunities and revenue generation through tourism in the state.
