Agartala, May 11—The CPI(M) state committee meeting was held on Sunday at the party’s state office in Agartala, marking its first gathering since the 24th Party Congress. The meeting was attended by Central Committee General Secretary, M.A. Baby, alongside key party figures, including Leader of the Opposition and CPI(M) Politburo member Jitendra Choudhury, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, and other senior party officials.

During the meeting, party leaders analyzed the national political landscape and engaged in discussions on strategies to strengthen the party’s presence in Tripura. Sources indicate that the meeting also focused on adopting new organizational measures aimed at reinforcing party activities within the state.

Leaders expressed optimism about the party’s future role, emphasizing efforts to expand mass outreach and public engagement in the region.
