Agartala: May 13: Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha addressed journalists today, highlighting the government’s latest recruitment effort in the state police. He announced that offer letters have been distributed to 975 new police constables, marking a significant milestone in police appointments after many years.

During his remarks, the Chief Minister emphasized that there will be no interference in police work, stating that law enforcement has been given full authority to maintain order. He pointed out that additional recruitment in the police force aims to strengthen the rule of law and improve security across the state.

Meanwhile, the opposition has raised concerns regarding the state’s law and order situation, claiming that their leaders and workers have faced attacks in front of the police. They argue that the rule of law is not being upheld in Tripura. The Chief Minister, however, attributed these claims to the opposition’s perspective, emphasizing the government’s commitment to governance and security.
