Agartala: May 31: On Saturday, Gramin Bank and the OBC Welfare Department jointly organized a special event aimed at promoting sports among children and adolescents. As part of the initiative, various sports equipment was distributed to encourage young people to engage in physical activities and support their overall well-being. 

Several distinguished guests attended the program, including OBC Welfare Secretary Tapas Roy, OBC Welfare Board Chairman Tapas Majumdar, Tripura Gramin Bank Chairman Satyendra Singh, and OBC Director Nirmal Adhikari, along with other dignitaries. 

In their addresses, the speakers highlighted the importance of sports in fostering discipline, leadership qualities, and a healthy lifestyle. They emphasized that encouraging children to participate in sports is a shared social responsibility that contributes to their personal development. 

The organizers announced plans to hold similar events in the future, particularly to benefit underprivileged children and adolescents, reinforcing their commitment to youth development through sports.
