Agartala, June 10: Along with the rest of the nation, the ruling BJP in Tripura celebrated 11 years of Modi led government at the Centre.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee and other top party leaders were present in the programme, held here at BJP party headquarter in Agartala.

“India Rises from “Fragile Five” to world’s fourth largest economy under PM Modi’s leadership,” Dr Saha said, adding that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has transformed itself from being labelled one of the “Fragile Five” economies to becoming the world’s fourth largest economy over the past 11 years.

He said, “During 11 years, the Modi government has launched and successfully implemented numerous schemes aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens across the nation, including those living in the most remote regions. These initiatives span a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture, science, infrastructure, and technology.”

To mark the 11th anniversary of the Modi government, a special interactive session with intellectuals was organized here at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan. Speaking at the event, party leaders and dignitaries highlighted the unprecedented progress India has made under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance.

Dr Saha said that described as a true architect of modern India’s development journey, Prime Minister Modi was praised for steering the country towards self-reliance and global recognition in a rapidly changing world order.

An exhibition was also held to commemorate the 11 years of Modi government at the Centre, which showcased the remarkable developmental milestones across diverse sectors achieved during his tenure. Visitors to the exhibition were treated to a visual journey of India’s progress, capturing the spirit of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India). The displays highlighted the country’s emergence as a global leader in defense, space, technology, agriculture, and digital infrastructure.
