Agartala: June 18: In an inspiring development for Jamtail Bari ADC Village under Chandipur Block, ten tribal youths have secured government jobs, creating a wave of pride and celebration in this remote part of Tripura. The village, located around 18 kilometers from Kailashahar and largely inhabited by the Halam community along with Debbarma and other tribes, primarily relies on farming and pineapple cultivation.

The newly recruited youths include Lalremsang Halam, Ajit Halam, Lalrema Halam, and Hoichunglung Halam, who secured Group-C posts through JRBT. Ichak Halam, Moiri Halam, Ronika Debbarma, and Rumasru Debbarma have been selected for the Tripura Police. Additionally, Nijiri Halam has joined as an SPO, and Badal Halam has been appointed as an engineer in the PWD department.

The success of these youths is widely credited to the consistent efforts of Minister Tinku Roy, who has actively engaged with unemployed youth in tribal regions since winning the Chandipur Assembly seat. Roy has also facilitated free coaching for competitive exams, with several aspirants currently undergoing training.

A felicitation event was held Tuesday at the local community hall in Jamtail Bari, where senior advocate Sandeep Debroy and BJP leaders Himanshu Das and Nayan Paul attended and congratulated the successful candidates.

The newly appointed youths expressed heartfelt gratitude toward Tinku Roy, calling him a leader who brought real change to their lives. They pledged to serve the state with dedication and integrity.

Villagers attributed the success to the transparent recruitment policy introduced by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. “Now, jobs are reaching even the remotest corners based on merit. Aspirants no longer need to depend on political rallies or influence,” said a local resident, calling it a turning point for youth empowerment in rural Tripura.
