Agartala: June 19: Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its newly renovated Kadamtala Branch in North Tripura district on Thursday. The revamped branch, now equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and infrastructure at par with nationalized banks, was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble District Magistrate & Collector of North Tripura, Smt. Chandni Chandran, IAS.

The ceremony was graced by several notable dignitaries, including the Lead District Manager (LDM), District Development Manager (DDM), Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti, and a large gathering of valued customers. The event celebrated TGB’s strides toward enhancing customer experience and delivering banking services in a modernized, efficient environment—even in remote corners of the state.

Speaking on the occasion, TGB Chairman Shri Satyendra Singh highlighted the bank’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure development. “This is just the beginning. Many more branches are in the pipeline for renovation and new construction. Our vision is to match nationalized banks in both infrastructure and IT-enabled services,” he said.

The upgraded Kadamtala Branch features digital banking services, a customer-friendly layout, and advanced IT facilities, bringing TGB’s operational standards closer to those of leading commercial banks. The transformation has been well-received by both officials and customers, who praised the bank’s efforts to bring quality banking to underserved areas.

All dignitaries lauded the initiative and commended the TGB Chairman for delivering a modern, technologically advanced branch in such a remote location, underlining the bank’s commitment to inclusive growth and financial empowerment.
