Agartala, June 19: To mark the birthday of All India Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Pradesh Youth Congress organized a free medical health camp at the Congress Bhavan in Agartala on Thursday. The initiative was part of the party’s ongoing effort to engage with the public through meaningful, grassroots outreach programs.

The health camp offered essential medical services to residents, drawing participation from both party workers and members of the local community. Doctors and health professionals conducted basic checkups, provided consultations, and raised awareness on preventive healthcare, making it a well-received initiative among attendees.

Speaking to the media at the event, Pradesh Youth Congress president Neel Kamal Saha highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s contributions toward building an inclusive society. He specifically lauded Gandhi’s push for the National Caste Census, calling it a progressive move toward achieving social justice and equity.

“This health camp is not just a birthday celebration; it’s a reflection of Rahul Gandhi’s commitment to the people and our dedication to addressing their basic needs,” Saha said. “From blood donation drives to medical camps, the Congress party is actively working in all organizational districts to reconnect with the people and serve the community.”

Saha further emphasized that the Congress will continue to focus on people-centric initiatives to address real issues such as healthcare, education, and social welfare. The event also served to strengthen the bond between the party and the general public, especially the youth and marginalized sections of society.

The health camp was seen as both a tribute to Rahul Gandhi’s vision and a reaffirmation of the Youth Congress’s pledge to prioritize public welfare through inclusive and accessible service-driven programs across Tripura.
