Agartala, June 26: The double engine government is resolute in its mission to deliver advanced and accessible transport infrastructure across all parts of the state under the HIRA (Highways, Internet, Railways, and Airways) model of development, said state transport minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday.

Minister Chowdhury accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and other concerned officials, inspected the ongoing construction of the modern motor stand. During the visit, the quality of the work was closely reviewed to ensure high standards are maintained in the execution of the project.

Chowdhury said that in a major step towards fulfilling the long-standing demand of the working community, a state-of-the-art motor stand is being constructed at Jirania under the supervision of the state transport department, with an estimated cost of ₹13 crore.

This initiative reflects the government’s dedication to infrastructure development and improved public transport services for the people of Tripura, he said.
