Agartala, June 27: In a significant push to strengthen public services in Tripura, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday handed over appointment letters to 222 newly recruited candidates during a formal ceremony held at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala.
The recruitment is part of the state government’s ongoing drive to fill key vacancies through a transparent, merit-based selection process. The newly appointed personnel will be deployed primarily in the healthcare and education sectors—areas the government has identified as top priorities for development.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Saha reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving governance and service delivery through regular recruitment initiatives.
“Our government is committed to transparency and efficiency in public service recruitment. Today’s appointments are a testament to our resolve to ensure that government services reach every citizen, especially in rural and underserved areas,” he said.
The Chief Minister congratulated the new appointees and urged them to perform their duties with sincerity, dedication, and integrity.
The recruitment initiative forms part of a broader state strategy aimed at modernizing public infrastructure and addressing workforce gaps in critical sectors. Officials have indicated that similar recruitment drives will continue in the coming months to meet the growing demands of the state’s expanding service framework.
The event was attended by senior government officials, departmental heads, and family members of the newly appointed candidates, adding a celebratory atmosphere to the occasion.
