Garjanmura, June 27: A Specialist Mega Health Camp was successfully organized on Thursday at the rural Garjanmura School Complex under Kakraban Community Health Centre (CHC) in Gomati district. The event was a collaborative effort by AGMC and Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital, All Tripura Govt. Doctors Association (ATGDA) CWC, the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Gomati, and Kakraban CHC.
The health camp was formally inaugurated by the Sabhadipati of Gomati Zilla Parishad, Sri Debal Debroy, and the MLA of Kakraban-Shalgara Assembly Constituency, Shri Jitendra Majumder. Both dignitaries commended the initiative and extended their support for improved healthcare access in rural Tripura.
A team of highly qualified specialists from AGMC and Gomati District Hospital offered a wide range of medical services to the people. The specialists included doctors from dermatology, psychiatry, ENT, pediatrics, surgery, radiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, and internal medicine, among others.
The camp recorded a total of 255 patients receiving consultations and treatments. The department-wise patient count included:
- Medicine: 57
- Pediatrics: 21
- Orthopedics: 22
- Dermatology: 24
- Gynecology: 20
- Psychiatry: 15
- Ophthalmology: 23
- ENT: 21
- PMR: 20
- Surgery: 32
- Major surgeries identified: 2

Officials assured that such peripheral specialist health camps will continue in various locations across the district to uphold the mission of “Health for All.”
