Agartala, July 11: The Gomati District Education Department has taken a commendable initiative by organizing a two-day district-level program titled “Kishori Utkarsha Manch 2025–26”, with the central theme — “The Progress of Adolescent Girls is the Progress of the Nation.”
The state finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy on Friday inaugurate the programme at the Rajarshi Auditorium in Udaipur.
The initiative aims to holistically empower adolescent girls by nurturing their self-confidence, leadership qualities, moral and social values, decision-making abilities, educational aspirations, and fostering a positive outlook towards life.
Hon’ble Zilla Sabhadhipati Shri Debol Debroy, Hon’ble MLA Shri Abhishek Debroy, Shri Ranjit Das, Shri Jitendra Majumder, Hon’ble Municipal Chairman Shri Shital Chandra Majumder, and the District Education Officer of Gomati, Shri Kalyan Bhadra and others were present in the programnme.
The initiative marks a significant step towards building a more inclusive and empowered future for adolescent girls in Tripura and reflects the government’s commitment to their holistic development.
