Agartala | July 16: Focusing on quality public service delivery and employment generation, the Tripura government has successfully provided regular government jobs to 19,742 skilled youth over the past seven years, including appointments under the die-in-harness scheme, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday.

Dr Saha distributed appointment letters to 184 junior engineers here in a program at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan on Wednesday.

He said that recognizing the crucial role of engineers in the timely execution of the state’s visionary infrastructure development projects, the state government has been consistently recruiting qualified personnel in key departments, including the Public Works Department (PWD).

Continuing this initiative, a ceremonial event was held today at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala, where appointment letters were handed over to 184 newly selected Junior Engineers under TES Grade-V(B).

Speaking at the event, officials extended best wishes for a successful career to the new recruits and acknowledged their future contributions to the state’s development.
