Agartala, July 24: In a continued effort to make governance more accessible and transparent for all sections of the public, modern technology is playing a crucial role, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday.

Dr Saha chaired a high-level meeting in the conference hall of the State Secretariat, focusing on web portals related to the Chief Minister’s Office, the Home Department, and the Health Department.

“Web portals are proving to be highly effective tools in enhancing the grievance redressal system, allowing citizens to submit complaints and receive timely solutions,” Dr Saha said, adding that the state government is consistently working towards strengthening and upgrading its digital platforms.

Dr Saha emphasized the importance of robust, user-friendly, and responsive digital platforms that empower citizens and ensure smoother administrative processes. Senior officials from concerned departments participated in the meeting to review the performance of existing systems and discuss further enhancements.

The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to leveraging technology for good governance, ensuring that the benefits of administrative services reach every corner of society.
