Addressing the gathering, the Finance Minister emphasized the state government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure across all districts of Tripura. “To ensure people receive quality healthcare within their own districts, modernization of health centers is being actively pursued,” he said.
Highlighting the crucial role of nurses in the healthcare system, he stated, “Nurses play an essential role in providing timely medication, care, and psychological support to patients. They are also frontline responders in emergencies.” He added that the state government is equally focused on improving nursing services along with healthcare infrastructure.
As part of these efforts, the existing nursing college was upgraded to a B.Sc.
