Agartala, Aug 04: The Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Ratanlal Nath, on Monday visited Mohanpur to inspect various ongoing development works in the local market area.
During the inspection, he was accompanied by Rakesh Deb, Chairman of the Mohanpur Panchayat Samiti; Swapan Das, Chief Engineer of the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department; Sumitra Dey, Agriculture Supervisor of Mohanpur; as well as key members of the Mohanpur Market Committee including its Secretary and President. Social workers Shyamal Debnath, Bikash Das, and Nirmal Deb were also present.
The visit aimed to assess the progress of development initiatives and ensure that infrastructure improvements are aligned with the needs of local vendors and residents.
