Agartala, Aug 22: The Assam Rifles, deployed in Tripura, showcased their use of drones in strengthening the state’s security system through a Drone Show and Exhibition held today at the Assam Rifles Ground.

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha attended the event as the chief guest. Also present were Director General of Police Anurag, Home Secretary Abhishek Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, along with senior officials of the state police, Assam Rifles, and other security forces.

During the show, Assam Rifles personnel demonstrated how different types of drones are deployed for operational purposes and emergency situations. Officials also briefed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries about the features and capabilities of various drones displayed at the exhibition.

The demonstration highlighted the growing role of drone technology in enhancing surveillance, security, and operational efficiency of the armed forces in the state.
