Agartala, Aug 25: Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Narsingarh, Agartala, organized a vibrant Prize Distribution Ceremony for its youngest students at the Kulapati K. M. Munshi Hall on August 25, 2025. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, floral tributes, and a warm welcome to the distinguished guests.
The event was graced by Special Guest Mr. Manaranjan Das, Agriculture Officer (Retd.), TAFS Gr-I, Dept. of Agriculture, Govt. of Tripura, and noted social activist, along with Special Invitee Dr. Anwesha Bhattacharjee, Medical Officer and Dental Surgeon at Narsingarh PHC.
In her Welcome Address, Principal Smt. Swapna Shome underlined the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering holistic development from the earliest stages of education.
The highlight of the ceremony was the Felicitation of Achievers, where meritorious students from Nursery to Class II were honoured for their outstanding performance in academics for the session 2024–25. Awards were also presented for 100% attendance and excellence in co-curricular activities. The proud smiles of the little achievers reflected their hard work and the continuous encouragement received from teachers and parents.
Delivering the Presidential Address, Mr. Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS and Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra, emphasized the importance of laying strong educational foundations during formative years. He praised the school’s efforts in shaping young learners with care and excellence.
The ceremony, attended by esteemed guests, proud parents, and enthusiastic students, concluded with a Vote of Thanksdelivered by Headmistress Mrs. Pompi Majumdar. The day stood out as a memorable celebration of young talent, dedication, and achievement.
