Agartala, Sep 02: Blood donation is one of the noblest acts of humanity, with no substitute capable of saving a life in critical situations. Encouraging this spirit, the Tripura Industry Owners Association organized a voluntary blood donation camp today in Bodhjungnagar, drawing participants from across the industrial area.

Minister Sushanta Chowdhury has inaugurated the programme and highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation in strengthening bonds between people. Alongside the blood donation drive, the association also conducted a free eye check-up and health camp for the community.

Certificates were presented on stage to children of industrial workers who excelled in secondary, higher secondary, and various competitive examinations.

The Minister emphasized that such humanitarian initiatives not only save lives but also foster unity and social responsibility among citizens.
