Agartala, Sep 03: With the Village Council and Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections on the horizon, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday declared that the Pradesh BJP is fully geared up to secure a decisive mandate.
Chairing a high-level organisational meeting of the BJP Janajati Morcha at the state party office, Dr. Saha said the session was aimed at assessing challenges faced by the Janajati community and formulating a strategy to ensure the party’s continued outreach and engagement.
“Our message to the Janajati people is clear: BJP prioritises your issues. We have been planning this meeting for days to strengthen our preparation for the upcoming elections, and today we took a major step forward,” he said.
Dr. Saha emphasised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently championed tribal welfare, an area neglected by previous governments. “Since 2014, under PM Modi’s leadership, several transformative initiatives have been undertaken for Janajati upliftment. Following this vision, our state government is working relentlessly to reach every community,” he added.
On the elections, the Chief Minister left no doubt about the party’s readiness: “Whether it is the Village Council polls or the TTAADC elections, BJP is fully prepared to deliver. Today’s meeting is part of our ongoing efforts to mobilise support, strengthen organisational machinery, and ensure that our commitment to the people translates into results at the polls,” he said.
