New Delhi, September 6: The Constitution Club of India on Saturday witnessed an inspiring gathering as Positive Barta hosted its National Awareness Conclave, celebrating the remarkable success of planting one crore trees in a single year.
What began as an ambitious dream has transformed into a mass movement, powered by farmers, students, women entrepreneurs, and countless volunteers across the nation. Together, they have nurtured not just trees, but the shared vision of a sustainable, healthier India.
“This achievement is not only about numbers,” said Dr. Malay Pit, Founder and CEO of Positive Barta. “Each sapling represents care, courage, and responsibility towards our planet. It is about restoring ecological balance and reaffirming our duty to future generations.”
The conclave highlighted the crucial role of women entrepreneurs, whose initiatives—ranging from seed banks to sustainable businesses—have shown how environmental progress and social development go hand in hand. “They are transforming communities while becoming guardians of nature,” Pit observed.
The event brought together a distinguished panel, including Dr. Ayanjit Sen, defence trainer and academic; Dr. Parimal Kanti Mondal, national leader; Shri Sandeep Verma, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment; Mr. Vaibhav Parashar, Director, Versol Solutions; and Dr. Suresh Singhvi, Co-Director, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Eminent journalists such as Mukesh Koushik (Dainik Bhaskar), S.H. Shams (Missile Express Group), and senior TV journalist Arti Rai emphasized the media’s vital role in climate awareness.
Speakers unanimously stressed that the fight against climate change requires collective effort across governance, academia, healthcare, and media. The initiative’s grassroots strength—students, teachers, doctors, and ordinary citizens planting and caring for saplings—has built not only green cover but also a culture of responsibility.
Organizers announced the expansion of the Green Mission, aiming to inspire more communities and institutions nationwide. As the conclave concluded, it stood as both a celebration of achievement and a powerful call to action for a greener, sustainable future.
