Agartala, Sep 07: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday visited the Tripurasundari temple at Udaipur to check the preparation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit for inauguration of Tripurasundari temple, developed newly under the PRASAD scheme.

PM Modi is likely to visit the state this September for the inauguration. Dr Saha was accompanied by the DM of the Gomati district and other top officials of the government.

During his visit, Dr Saha said that although the date of PM Modi’s visit is not yet confirmed, the government is making all necessary preparation for the inauguration.

The final touch of the beautification of the temple is underway while over 80 per cent of the work is completed under the PRASAD scheme.

Finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy and other officials accompanied the Chief Minister. Before the visit of the Chief Minister, senior officials had visited the temple to check the preparation on Saturday.
