Agartala, Sep 14: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is steadily advancing toward building a developed India. Speaking at the 44th Foundation Day and blood donation drive of the Shri Shri Mahaanam Angan Ashram in Banamalipur on Sunday, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha emphasized the importance of human values and selfless service.

The Chief Minister stated, “Just as birth is inevitable, so is death. In between, one must practice human values and serve others. This is what gives meaning and purpose to life.” He further stressed that leading a life based on ideals and always supporting others is essential for personal growth and societal well-being.

CM Saha praised the ashram for its continuous contribution to social welfare and highlighted its exemplary initiatives throughout the year. He reiterated that the state government is working tirelessly to improve the socio-economic conditions of its people and encouraged everyone to participate selflessly in public welfare to build a healthy and harmonious society.

Highlighting the vision of Prime Minister Modi, he said, “The government is striving to ensure happiness and prosperity for every family. Our rich culture and heritage are being preserved through the efforts of both the central and state governments. The Prime Minister has called upon the youth to channel their energy for the nation’s progress.”

The Chief Minister also underlined the importance of blood donation, calling it one of the noblest services to society. He urged citizens to be inspired by this cause and participate actively. In addition, the government is promoting organ donation along with blood donation. He also appealed to the public to adopt a drug-free lifestyle.

The event saw the presence of Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar and Corporator Ratna Dutta. The guests toured the blood donation camp and encouraged the donors. The program began with a welcome address by Sudip Kumar Ray, Secretary of the All Tripura Mahaanam Sevak Sangh. Also present were spiritual leaders including Shrimad Upasak Bandhu Brahmachari Maharaj and Shrimad Bandhu Pritam Brahmachari.
