Kanchanbari, Oct 6 — On the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami, a day symbolizing valor and spiritual awakening, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated a historic milestone — the completion of 100 years since its founding.

The centenary celebration, organized by the Fatikroy unit of RSS at Kanchanbari Bazaar, witnessed enthusiastic participation from Swayamsevaks, dignitaries, and local residents. Sudhangshu Das, Minister for Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, graced the occasion as the chief guest and addressed the gathering, reflecting on the RSS’s remarkable century-long journey.

“The RSS began its mission on a sacred day dedicated to courage and strength, and today, that same mission stands tall at its glorious centenary stage,” said Minister Das. He praised the organization’s continuous efforts to unite Hindu society and promote India’s timeless cultural and spiritual values.

Highlighting its enduring impact, Das noted that the RSS has played a transformative role in shaping national character, instilling patriotism, and strengthening social harmony. “Through discipline, devotion, and dedication, the RSS has made an immeasurable contribution to the nation’s moral and cultural foundation,” he stated.

The event also featured a ceremonial parade, patriotic songs, and speeches underscoring the RSS’s guiding philosophy of “Seva, Sanskar, and Samrasta” — service, values, and harmony.

As part of its centenary celebrations, the RSS aims to further expand its outreach programs across the country, focusing on youth engagement, rural development, and cultural preservation.

The gathering concluded with a collective pledge to continue the organization’s mission of building a strong, united, and self-reliant India, in keeping with the ideals envisioned by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of RSS.
