Agartala: Nov 09: Eminent journalist and academic Dr. Bishwendu Bhattacharjee from Tripura is set to represent India at the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 30), to be held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10 to 21. Dr. Bhattacharjee will be part of India’s official delegation at this prestigious global event, where nearly 200 countries will come together to deliberate on strategies and policies to combat the escalating challenges of climate change.
This year’s central theme — “International Cooperation in Addressing Climate Change Challenges” — emphasizes the urgent need for collective global action and sustainable climate governance.
