Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) proudly inaugurated its ultra-modern, state-of-the-art ATM E-Lobby at Sidhai Mohanpur, marking another milestone in its journey towards technology-driven and customer-centric banking. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Tripura, Shri Ratan Lal Nath, whose esteemed presence added great significance to the occasion.
The newly inaugurated ATM E-Lobby has been designed to provide secure, seamless and 24×7 digital banking services, reinforcing TGB’s commitment to delivering world-class banking infrastructure to every corner of the state. Alongside the ATM E-Lobby, a Customer Service Point (CSP) of TGB was also inaugurated, located adjacent to the E-Lobby and strategically positioned in the bustling marketplace of Mohanpur (Sidhai) in West Tripura district.
Hon’ble Minister Shri Ratan Lal Nath appreciated Tripura Gramin Bank’s consistent efforts in extending banking services to even the remotest areas of the state. Demonstrating confidence in the bank’s facilities, the Minister also opened an account on the spot using the Business Correspondent facility at the CSP centre.
Tripura Gramin Bank today boasts an unparalleled presence in the state with 150 branches, 12 Ultra Small Branches, 15 branches under its network, and 476 Customer Service Points, making it the largest banking network in Tripura. As per the latest SLBC report, TGB leads the state in branch presence, followed by SBI with 79 branches and PNB with 70 branches.
The Minister applauded the Chairman of TGB for bringing a remarkable transformation in the bank’s outlook and services over the past 3–4 years, placing it at par with nationalized banks. With over 31 lakh customers, internet banking facilities, modern infrastructure and now 40 ATMs across the state—many equipped with self-operated passbook printing machines—TGB truly stands as “the state’s own bank,” delivering convenience, accessibility and trust to the people of Tripura.
