The seminar was organised with support from the Central Government’s PM-USHA Scheme and brought together academicians, administrators, and students to discuss key issues related to women’s welfare, mental health, and empowerment.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor said that the empowerment of women is fundamental to the progress of the nation. Referring to initiatives taken by the Centre under the leadership of Narendra Modi, he highlighted several flagship programmes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.
