The BJP Pradesh Mahila Morcha has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding women-centric welfare initiatives and strengthening its outreach activities across Tripura. The decision was taken during a significant organizational meeting held at the party office in Krishnanagar on Sunday, where senior party leaders and women representatives discussed future strategies aimed at enhancing grassroots engagement and ensuring the effective implementation of welfare programs for women.

The meeting focused on developing a stronger organizational structure and improving communication at the grassroots level so that government schemes and welfare measures can reach women in every district and remote area of the state. Leaders emphasized the importance of active participation by women workers in spreading awareness regarding various initiatives introduced for women’s empowerment and social welfare.

Addressing the gathering, Pradesh BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee said the meeting formed an important part of the party’s broader organizational strengthening campaign. He highlighted that the party is preparing for a nationwide outreach program to commemorate twelve years of the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to him, the upcoming campaign will focus on highlighting various welfare measures and developmental initiatives undertaken by the central government, especially those designed to benefit women. He stressed that Tripura’s Mahila Morcha would play a leading role in creating awareness at the state level and ensuring that information about these initiatives reaches households across different communities.

The meeting was attended by Mahila Morcha chief and former MLA Mimi Majumder along with several women leaders and party functionaries. During the session, participants pledged to actively promote the message of women’s empowerment and continue working to strengthen women’s participation in social and political activities.

Leaders also reiterated the importance of increasing women’s representation and involvement in decision-making processes while ensuring that welfare schemes produce tangible benefits at the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from party members to strengthen organizational networks and support initiatives aimed at improving the lives and opportunities of women throughout Tripura.
