Agartala, May 07: Governor and also the President of Indian Red Cross Society Tripura State Branch Indra Sena Reddy Nallu Inaugurated the ‘World Red Cross Day -2025’ & Blood Donation Camp at Indian Red Cross Society Tripura State Branch at Agartala on Wednesday.

Highlighting the significance of the day, Governor said that blood donation is a sign of humanity and a symbol of collective sympathy. Every drop of blood is a life line that binds us to humanity.

The governor urged the people of the state to come forward to donate more blood. He also said that the duty of every member of the Red Cross Society, including doctors, volunteers, to the society remains hidden.

He said the Red Cross mission plays an important role in implementing everything from disaster relief to health care initiatives.

Red Cross Society Tripura State Branch Secretary Chandan Debnath, Vice President Parmananda Sarkar Banerjee and others were present in the programme.
