Agartala: May 26: The southwest monsoon has officially entered Tripura today, arriving approximately ten days ahead of its usual schedule. This early arrival was confirmed by the Meteorological Department in an official statement.

As a result, moderate rainfall has been recorded across various parts of the state in the past 24 hours. According to weather officials, the monsoon typically arrives in Tripura around May 30, but this year, it has made an early onset.

The Meteorological Department has indicated that more rainfall is expected in the coming days, with certain districts likely to experience heavy showers. Residents are advised to stay informed about local weather updates as the monsoon season progresses.
