Agartala: May 31: Bodhjungnagar police have successfully recovered eight stolen motorcycles, along with a water pump machine, electrical wires, and various items belonging to a temple. As part of the operation, law enforcement officials have also arrested an individual in connection with the theft.

According to West District Police Superintendent Dr. Kiran Kumar, the investigation was initiated following a motorcycle theft case. During the inquiry, authorities recovered the stolen motorcycles and other items, leading to the arrest of a suspect identified as Santu Das. Further investigation led to the discovery of additional stolen property at the residence of Ratan Das. However, Ratan Das, believed to be involved in the crime, remains at large.

Police Superintendent Dr. Kumar stated that the total value of the recovered items and vehicles is estimated to be approximately seven lakh rupees. Efforts are ongoing to locate the absconding suspect and further strengthen security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
