Agartala, July 26: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday attended a felicitation ceremony for the newly inducted life members of Tripura Cricket Association and said that Cricket continues to hold a special place in the hearts of millions, serving as a unifying force and a source of inspiration across generations.
“In Tripura, the sport has witnessed steady growth, thanks to the unwavering efforts of the Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) — an institution deeply committed to fostering cricketing talent in the state,” Dr Saha added.
In a significant event held today in Agartala, the Tripura Cricket Association hosted a felicitation ceremony for its newly inducted life members, alongside the annual reunion of all life members. The event celebrated the contribution of longstanding supporters and stakeholders in the development of cricket in Tripura.
Gracing the occasion, a senior dignitary — who has long been associated with the TCA — extended best wishes to the new members and encouraged all stakeholders to remain proactive in promoting the sport.
“Let us continue to nurture local talent and work collectively to build a robust sporting culture in Tripura,” Dr Saha said.
