Agartala, July 30: A delegation from the Tripura Tea Planters’ Association paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha at his official residence on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the members of the delegation presented a memento to the Chief Minister as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation. The discussion primarily focused on the development of the tea industry in Tripura and the initiatives undertaken by the state government to support its growth.

Chairman of Tripura Tea Development Corporation (TTDC) Sameer Ranjan Ghosh, Secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce Kiran Gitte, Managing Director of TTDC Maniklal Das, Chairman of the Tea Planters’ Association Anjan Das, General Secretary Bhaskar Prasad Chaliha, along with other members of the association were present.

The meeting reflected the shared commitment of the government and industry stakeholders to strengthen Tripura’s tea sector and explore avenues for sustainable development and economic growth.
