Agartala, Aug 10: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has called upon the people of the state to participate wholeheartedly in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

Taking part in Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on Sunday, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative two years ago to mark the nation’s Independence Day and to honor those who sacrificed their lives to protect India’s freedom and sovereignty. The campaign is being organized across the country in three phases in the run-up to Independence Day.

As part of the initiative, national flags are being distributed among citizens at various centers, and people are voluntarily hoisting the tricolor at their homes. Dr. Saha urged every household in Tripura to hoist the national flag on August 15 to mark the 78th Independence Day.
