Agartala: Mar 31: Those who murdered former Health Minister Bimal Sinha are now within the ruling party and indirectly providing strength as an allied force. When they cannot defeat the leftists democratically, they resort to terrorist activities, communal rhetoric, and various methods to undermine democracy.

On Monday, during the observance of the martyrdom day and anti-terrorism day of former Health Minister Bimal Sinha, opposition leader Jitendra Choudhury made these remarks. On March 31, 1998, the then Health Minister Bimal Sinha was murdered. Monday marked the 28th martyrdom day of Bimal Sinha. The CPI(M) observes this day every year as Anti-Terrorism Day, and this year was no exception.
