Agartala: April 21: Since 2015, significant strides have been made in addressing developmental challenges in Tripura. Initially focusing on public relations and later assuming the role of State BJP President, efforts were directed towards understanding the realities faced by communities in remote regions of the state. Observations revealed a gap between the narrative of progress and the actual conditions under the previous administration, highlighting the need for change.

In 2018, a new government was formed, aiming to prioritize the needs of the people and address longstanding issues. The administration focused on ensuring access to essential services and government assistance for marginalized communities. One notable initiative was the visit to Dhanuram Para in Gandachhara, where residents faced severe food insecurity and relied on forest resources for survival. Efforts were launched to provide housing, electricity, clean drinking water, roads, and other facilities under various government schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Today, the region has witnessed substantial improvements, with residents benefiting from social pensions, free rice distribution, and sustainable livelihoods through rubber plantations and land deeds. The transformation reflects a broader commitment to inclusive development and the vision of progress for all sections of society.

Tripura continues to evolve, with development replacing previous challenges, bringing hope and opportunities to its people.
