Agartala: May 18: Agartala is set to host a modern Civil Service Officers’ Institute aimed at strengthening the state’s administrative framework and enhancing the development of officers. On Sunday, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha laid the foundation stone for this institute in the Kunjaban area.

During the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the efficiency of state officers, particularly their expertise in handling flood situations, and credited their dedication for driving Tripura’s progress. He emphasized that government projects reach the public through the efforts of officers and underlined the importance of maintaining an accountable and reliable administrative structure.

Dr. Saha pointed out that as development advances, confidence in governance also grows. He noted that Tripura’s budget has increased from ₹27,000 crore to ₹32,000 crore, marking a significant rise, and acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s role in this financial progress.

The upcoming institute, set to be constructed at a cost of ₹311.5 million, will feature modern facilities and is expected to contribute significantly to the professional development of state officers.

In addition to the foundation-laying ceremony, a blood donation camp was organized on the same day. The Chief Minister expressed appreciation for the donors and their contributions toward this humanitarian cause.
