Agartala, May 27: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Tuesday attended the oath taking ceremony of the GNM and ANM students of Sarvodaya Institution of Nursing of Melagarh and said that the nurses play a crucial role in maintain the relation between a society and health services.

The event was organised here at Agartala Sukanta Academy. The Governor also unveiled the cover of ‘Glosspir’ magazine of Sarvodaya Institute of Nursing.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that in today’s world, more skilled nurses are needed in providing health services. He urged the nurses to provide health services with patience, kindness, respect and dignity.

Former Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik spoke on the occasion. Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission School Swami Shubhakarananda Maharaj, and Professor H P Sharma, Director, Department of Medical Education among others were present in the event.
