Agartala: May 22: In a heartfelt initiative to honour the Indian Army’s efforts and sacrifices that led to the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, Ramnagar Mandal held a preparatory meeting on Thursday at the Mandal office. The meeting was organized ahead of the much-anticipated historic bike rally scheduled for May 23.

The meeting was conducted under the leadership of Ramnagar MLA and Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder. Also present was Mandal President Amitabh Bhattacharjee, along with several ward councilors, Mandal office bearers, and party karyakartas. The focus of the gathering was on ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and mobilization for the upcoming event.

Addressing the meeting, Mayor Dipak Majumder emphasized the importance of the rally as a symbol of gratitude and solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces. He urged the residents of Ramnagar and surrounding areas to actively participate in the bike rally and show their support for the brave soldiers who played a crucial role in the success of Operation Sindoor.

“This rally is not just a ride; it is our way of expressing our deepest respect and appreciation for the Indian Army. I call upon all citizens of Ramnagar to join us in this historic tribute,” said Majumder.

The leaders at the meeting discussed the logistical aspects of the rally, including route planning, safety measures, and public engagement. They also reviewed roles and responsibilities to ensure that the event proceeds in an organized and impactful manner.

The upcoming rally is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from various sections of society, turning it into a unifying event that honours the military’s dedication and the spirit of patriotism. Ramnagar Mandal aims to set a strong example of civic engagement and national pride through this initiative.
