Agartala, May 17: To ensure enhanced access to higher education, the BJP led coalition government in Tripura has decided to establish three new general degree colleges.

Informing this in the social media handle on Saturday, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, “As part of our commitment to ensure enhanced access to higher education, the State Government has decided to establish three new Government Degree Colleges at Ambassa in Dhalai District, and Kakraban and Karbook in Gomati district from the current academic session i.e. 2025-26.”

This decision will largely benefit the students of these regions in providing access to higher studies and promoting quality education, Dr Saha stated.
