Agartala, April 16: The Union Minister of State for Consumer, Food and Public distribution B L Verma on Wednesday chaired a review meeting with the officials of the South Tripura district administration at Belonia Circuit House and discussed developmental activities in the district.
The Union Minister, who is in a 2-day visit to the South Tripura district met the representatives of the district and later visited Sakhi One Stop Center in Belonia, Amrit Sarobar in Bharatchandranagar Block, Fair Price Shop No. 10 at Brij Chowmuhani in Satmura, Belonia and North Sarashima Sub Health Centre and interacted with local residents and related office workers.
During the visit, he was accompanied by South Tripura Zilla Parishad Chairman Deepak Dutta, Social Welfare and Social Education Department Director Tapan Das, District Magistrate Muhammad Sajad P, Belonia Municipal Council Chairperson Nikhil Chandra Gope and officials of various departments.
After the visit, the Union Minister chaired a review meeting of various departments in the conference hall of Circuit House.
