Agartala, Aug 21: Two students from PM Shri Sabroom Higher Secondary Girls’ School in South Tripura district to receive Chief Minister’s annual state award for their academic excellence.

According to reports, one student secured a perfect score of 100 out of 100 in English in the Tripura Higher Secondary Examinations, earning the top position in the subject-wise ranking list. Another student, Gopimala Tripura, is being awarded for her remarkable performance among tribal students.

It may be noted that Gopimala Tripura, a resident of the Sabroom Girls’ Hostel, had earlier excelled in the 2023 Madhyamik Examination by scoring 464 out of 500 marks, securing the 4th position across the state. Her success was significantly supported by the special coaching classes conducted under the initiative of the Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Tripura.

School Headmaster Ranjan Debnath expressed pride, stating, “This award is not only an honour for the students but also a matter of great pride for the entire school and the Sabroom subdivision. Such achievements will inspire many more students to excel in the days to come.”
