Quetta, Aug 28 — The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has reiterated its call for international intervention in what it terms the “Baloch–Pakistan conflict,” urging world powers to extend moral, diplomatic, and financial support to the Baloch national liberation movement.

BLF spokesperson Gwahram Baloch accused Pakistan of being “not only a terrorist state but a hub of terrorism,” while condemning the United States for striking agreements with Islamabad over mining in Balochistan. “This is a grave injustice,” he said, recalling that China had already exploited the province through projects like Gwadar Port and the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), branding the Baloch freedom struggle as terrorism.

“The Baloch are not terrorists; they are freedom-seekers striving to protect their homeland and resources,” Gwahram asserted. He accused Pakistan’s military of hypocrisy, recalling former U.S. President Donald Trump’s 2016 criticism of Islamabad’s duplicity, and said current Army Chief General Asim Munir is now presenting Balochistan’s mineral wealth to Washington.

The BLF warned that any foreign power colluding with Pakistan in exploiting Baloch resources would face resistance. “If any power intervenes as Pakistan’s partner in plundering our minerals, Balochistan will become their quagmire. China’s failures in Gwadar and CPEC are clear examples,” the spokesperson said.

Appeals were also made to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, urging them not to invest in Balochistan or harass the Baloch people. “Our ties with you are thousands of years old. Do not damage them for short-term alliances with Punjab,” the BLF said.

Calling Pakistani actions “Punjabi state terrorism,” the group urged the U.S., Britain, France, Germany, and China to recognize that “Balochistan is not an internal issue of Pakistan.” Gwahram concluded: “The geography of Balochistan is harsh, but the resistance of its people is far harsher.”
