Ambassa, March 9: SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das on Monday emphasized the importance of training workshops in strengthening organizational capacity and preparing grassroots leaders for greater responsibilities within the party structure.
The Minister was addressing a district-level training meeting and trainers’ workshop held at the PRTI Hall in Ambassa, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Dhalai District Committee as part of the nationwide Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan.
The program witnessed the participation of party leaders and workers representing five mandals from Dhalai district. The initiative aimed to provide structured training to party workers and strengthen the organizational framework at the grassroots level.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Das said that such training programs play a vital role in shaping disciplined and capable workers who can effectively contribute to both organizational growth and social service. According to him, regular training sessions help party members understand the principles, ideology, and functioning of the organization more clearly.
“The importance of such training workshops is immense. They enrich our workers with deeper knowledge of organizational methods, ideals, and responsibilities, making them more prepared to serve society and the party effectively,” Das said while interacting with participants.
He further noted that well-trained grassroots leaders are essential for strengthening the party’s presence at the local level and ensuring smooth communication between leadership and the people. By equipping mandal-level leaders with the necessary knowledge and skills, the organization can respond more effectively to public concerns and developmental challenges.
The workshop focused on providing practical guidance to mandal leaders on organizational management, leadership responsibilities, and effective communication strategies. Participants were also introduced to the ideological vision associated with the legacy of Deendayal Upadhyaya.
Party leaders said that such training initiatives would continue across different districts to reinforce the party’s grassroots network and ensure that workers remain actively engaged in organizational and social activities throughout Tripura.
