Agartala, June 21: Tripura Gramin Bank on Sunday observed the International Day of Yoga 2026 with a special yoga session at its head office in Agartala, reaffirming its commitment to employee wellness and holistic development. The programme was organised in collaboration with The Art of Living Foundation, Tripura, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from bank officials and employees.
The event was attended by Tripura Gramin Bank Chairman Satyendra Singh, General Manager Anup Kumar Saha, senior officials and staff members from different departments. The initiative formed part of the nationwide observance of International Yoga Day, celebrated annually on June 21 to promote the benefits of yoga and encourage healthy living.
The yoga session was conducted by Manju Sinha, a senior teacher of The Art of Living Foundation, Tripura. Participants engaged in a series of yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques designed to improve physical fitness, mental clarity and emotional well-being.
