Agartala, May 17: Senior IPS officer Anurag Dhyankhar has been appointed as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Tripura. A seasoned officer with an impressive track record, Dhyankhar previously held key responsibilities within the state police, including serving as the DGP (Intelligence).

His appointment to the top post comes at a crucial time as Tripura focuses on strengthening its internal security, law enforcement systems, and public trust in policing.
