Agartala, Sept 28: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated two Durga Puja celebrations in Dharmanagar on the auspicious morning of Mahashasthi.

Arriving by train from Agartala, the Chief Minister first visited the historic Town Kali Bari premises, where he formally inaugurated the 136th edition of the Town Kali Bari Durga Puja. Later, he proceeded to the Haphlong Gorjon Tilla Ramakrishna Seva Samiti’s Puja pandal and inaugurated the festivities there as well.

Speaking at the inaugural events, the Chief Minister said that the present government is giving equal importance to the development of Dharmanagar city along with the rest of the state. He further assured that several projects are in the pipeline to take the city forward in the coming days.
